Women’s Morning of Reflection will be held on March 18, 9 – 11 a.m. in the undercroft of St. Mary.

“God’s Grace in My Life” will be presented by Sarah Anne Carter Rosenbaum. All women of Mary, Queen of Angels family of parishes are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring a friend. Sponsored by St. Mary Ladies’ Sodality.

A Lenten Exploration of our Holy Spaces and Practices

Join us for a six-week deep-dive into the behind-the-scenes aspects of Holy Week in the Roman Catholic Church. Lent is a season of prayer and penance, a wonderful time to learn more about the practices of the Church. There
will be no “homework.”
Learn about the Sacred Spaces and practices that you likely have never seen or noticed, the deep theology behind our liturgies and customs during Holy Week, and the unusual items and intricate preparation that go into theses most Holy liturgies of the year. Sessions are in the undercroft at St. Mary Church.

Meeting dates are February 27, March 5, 13, 20, 27, and April 3, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., and will include time in the church. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Sessions will end by 8:30 p.m. It is not necessary for participants to have attended “Behind the Scenes at Mass” during Advent, 2022.

Beginning the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday Chris Cotter will present, “Six Weeks to Deeper Prayer: A Lenten Journey with the Carmelite Saints.” The
purpose of this course is to help each participant deepen their relationship with God through a more intense life of prayer. The first meeting will be 10 AM Tuesday, February 21 in the Church Undercroft. To register for this six-week course please call the parish office at 937-653-1375.
