There will be a meeting for all St. Mary Ushers on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary Church.
This meeting is mandatory for all Usher Captains and is highly recommended for all who assist with Usher duties.
Father Thomas R. Espelage, Pastor of St. Mary Church from 1985-1997, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the age of 75. Father Tom served in the Priesthood for nearly 50 years, of which the last 19 were spent serving the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 7121 Plainfield Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236.
He was the beloved son of the late Stanley R. and Jean C. Espelage, and cherished brother of Mary Jane Espelage, Joyce Frondorf, Nancy (David) Jasper, Stanley Robert (Kathy) Espelage, Linda (Paul) Weckenbrock, Anne Wiesner, Lawrence (Cordy) Espelage, Harry (Sue) Espelage, and Jeannie Griffin. A host of other family and friends are left to mourn his passing.
On Monday, October 15, 2018, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Cincinnati, Reception of the Body will be at 6:00 p.m. followed by visitation from 6:30 p.m.—9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., also at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. His body will be entombed at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. John Church and Hospice of Cincinnati.

There will be a Luncheon for Seniors and their caregivers every Tuesday, at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Michael Parish Hall. These luncheons are currently scheduled for the same time and location each Tuesday.

McAuley Senior Living now has an Alzheimer’s Support Group which meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 4:00 p.m. in the McAuley conference room. The support group is for anyone who is needing advice, resources, comfort, or care due to memory loss of any kind for a family member.
