Divine Sonship: Comparing Judaism, Christianity and Islam

How do we, as Christians, understand our relationship with God?

Our understanding of our relationship with God has roots in the Old Testament, particularly the Covenant of God with Abraham, our father in faith. That understanding is completed in a truly profound revelation of Jesus Christ. As it happens, it is an understanding that is radically different from that of the other children of Abraham, those descended from Ishmael and their brothers and sisters in faith, the people we call Muslims, who practice a faith known as Islam (which is an Arabic word meaning "Submit!").

Dr. Scott Hahn sheds tremendous light on these all-important distinctions, beginning with a deeper understanding of the story of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael.
