Institute on the Constitution

A Two-Day Seminar – October 12 & 19, 2019!

One of God’s greatest gifts to mankind is liberty, yet liberty is one of the most fragile of God’s gifts. We are living in a day when our freedoms are constantly under attack, especially our Religious Freedom. If we want to retain our God-given freedoms, then Christians and concerned community members must become better informed. Learning how our American and Christian heritages are intertwined is the first step. Understanding how the U.S. Constitution preserves our freedoms is the next step.

It is for these reasons that Saint Mary Catholic Church, 231 Washington Ave. in Urbana, will be offering a two-day seminar entitled, “The Truth of America’s Founding – Your Heritage and Mine.”  The dates of the seminar are Saturday, October 12, and Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, with the doors open at 8:00 am.  All are welcome!

Bryan and Janice Snyder, local retired educators, will be leading the seminar and representing the “Institute on the Constitution,” a national non-profit educational organization that has the goal of educating our fellow citizens on the U.S. Constitution and the Biblical founding of the United States of America.

The tuition for the class is free.  The cost of materials is $45 per person or per family, payable with registration.  Students who wish to attend by themselves will only be charged $25 for materials.

Listed below are links to two short promotional YouTube videos that will give you an idea of the material in the seminar:
