Corpus Christi Procession

Please join us Thursday, June 11th, at 6:00 p.m. for Latin Mass and a Corpus Christi procession to follow

For the first time in an untold number of years St. Mary, Urbana, will be having a Corpus Christi procession.  Everyone is invited to come and participate in this amazing feast that honors the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord.  This is an amazing way to proclaim Our Lord to the whole world!
What:  Mass and Corpus Christi Procession
When:  Thursday, June 11, 2020
Mass begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by Corpus Christi procession and Benediction
Where:  St. Mary Church, 228 Washington Ave., Urbana, OH  43078
As you may know, St. Mary, Urbana has a small but active Latin Mass community.  In the old Church calendar, tomorrow is Corpus Christi.  Normally it was celebrated with Mass and a Eucharistic procession.
A few of the folks (headed up by a few fantastic ladies) have put together the plans and all of the details for us to have a Corpus Christi procession.  I’m sorry for the short notice, but they have been able to lay out, and implemented, these plans in the last two days.
If you’ve never seen a Corpus Christi procession before, which most of us have not, and can’t visualize how beautiful it is, please see the photographs attached below.
For those who would like to participate in decorating, we will begin tomorrow at 8 a.m. when it is still cool.  We hope to be finished by mid-day.  Any help is always welcome.
If you cannot help decorate, please come to this beautiful Mass and procession of Corpus Christi!
A picture is worth a thousand words, so here are some pictures to share.
